Add Image Tutorial

Adding an image to your item:

bullet pointUp to 4 100k images may be associated with your item, there is NO additional fee to include images.

bullet pointBefore you start prepare your image carefully.

  • The image format should be jpg/jpeg or png.
  • The maximum file size of the image is 100k, a 20k scan of a book is perfectly acceptable.
  • Images will be shown in thumbnail view of 80x100 pixels, scale your image so that it looks good when shrunk to this size.
  • Try to keep the image size small, this will help download times and make it easier to view on low resolution screens.

bullet pointEither add a new book or select edit on an existing book.

bullet pointClick on the "Add/Remove" button in the images field to take you to the add remove images page.

Add Remove images.

bullet pointClick "Browse" and select the image file to be attached, then click "Send File" to send the image.

bullet pointThe image will be associated with the item (Provided the image file size and type are valid)

The image will be shown along with the corresponding thumbnail. At the bottom of the image is filename, the description (in this case also the filename as no description was entered) and the delete option to remove this image.

bullet pointUp to four images may be added, repeat the process for each additional image

  • The first image (Main Image) will be the one that is shown in the item title.

bullet pointWhen added additional images will be show under the previous image.

bullet pointClick return to return to the edit page.

bullet pointOn the edit page the images associated will be listed under the images field.

bullet pointThe main image will now appear in the title bar of the item in search result.

bullet pointThe images will also be shown as thumbnail on the details page.

bullet pointClicking the thumbnail will take you to the view image to see the full sized image.
